Chamberlain High School Legacy Alliance
"Save the Scores" Fundraiser
Chamberlain's band director, Aaron Schmidt, has taken on the incredible task of organizing and restoring the band’s music library — nearly 70 years of musical history. As you can imagine, over time some folders were misplaced and individual instrument parts went missing, leaving a number of classic pieces incomplete.
Band leadership has now identified the exact parts needed to restore these scores, but replacing them will cost about $800, and some of the music is about to go out of print. We’re asking Chamberlain Band alumni to help us “Save the Scores” by donating so these pieces can be preserved for future Chamberlain musicians.
This music is part of our shared legacy — the same songs that once filled the stands, the stage, and our memories. Let’s come together as alumni and make sure the next generation can play them too.
