For many years, starting with the first year of CHS opening in the fall of 1956, student journalists at Chamberlain High School produced a school newspaper called the Chieftain. The publication included the latest news on academics, sports, and social events, and was eagerly anticipated by the student body.
The Chieftain went digital in 2015 and was available at www.thechieftain.org, but unfortunately, the site is no longer active. The publication stopped soon after that with the advent of social media.
We invite you to explore and enjoy our archive. If you have copies of the Chieftain that are not included in our collection, we would be grateful if you could contact us at ChamberlainLegacy@gmail.com so we may add them to our digital archive. We are particularly interested in editions from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, as these are the years for which we have limited resources.
