CHS Rich History and Traditions

Located on North Boulevard at the corner of Busch Boulevard in Tampa, Florida, George D. Chamberlain High School has been serving the community since its opening in 1956. The school is named after George D. Chamberlain, a former trustee of the Hillsborough County School System.

The first graduating class from Chamberlain High School was in 1958, and since then, the school has produced thousands of successful and accomplished graduates, many of whom have become respected community and business leaders. Chamberlain High School continues to provide a high-quality education to its students, preparing them for a successful future beyond their time at the school.
